Argyle Fox

Argyle Fox just wants to go outside and play, but every time he tries to engage in his pretend play, he is thwarted by the spring winds. While his mother and friends try to warn him, he perseveres. Eventually he comes up with the perfect way to play for the situation.

(Amazon affiliate link) Marie Letourneau’s Argyle Fox is a lovely book with beautiful full color illustrations. It is a great way to discuss brainstorming solutions with young children while enjoying a story together.

Spoiler alert: Emers (age 7) – I loved that at the end Argyle Fox came up with an activity and made kites for everyone so that they could all be included.
