Alyssa Hazel awakens, 8months pregnant and locked in a closet with no memory of how she got there. Her only instinct is to escape and get back to her husband. However, upon arriving home, she finds that she divorced her husband 6 months previously. Her ex-husband, Blake, must now wrestle with the imminent threat to his family and the feelings of abandonment.
Barb Han’s Texas Baby Conspiracy is a slow to build suspense with the makings of an intriguing novel. Overall, the book seemed to drag for me and there was a lot of repetition in the writing.
