Elise Gravel has an adorable book coming out in August 2021. (Amazon affiliate link) The Bug Club is a fun, non-fiction book perfect for reading aloud to young children.
This isn’t a dry book. The illustrations are fun and engaging, and the book is full of gross and strange bug facts. Gravel does a fantastic job of sharing a subject she loved as a child while demystifying bugs for young kids. Bugs are fascinating, and there were definitely some exclamations from my young review partner. This may become a favorite book for libraries to have on their shelves or for young future etymologists.
